    Born and raised in the Ozarks of Missouri (Springfield), I've been taking pictures since my
early teens.  Photography became my favorite pastime and eventually my profession.  I have enjoyed recording the special places my husband and I visit in our travels, but continue to take most of my pictures closer to home  where I now live in Venice, Florida.
    When I am taking pictures, I find beauty everywhere, often hidden amidst the visual chaos of our cluttered civilization.  Thus, my imagery comes from the ideas, fantasies, emotions
and people that surround my life.  I feel a strong sense of pride when I can capture or recreate a "Linda Enhanced" version of that beauty.  I strive to evoke your imagination and perception of everyday images and places.
    My photography is a process.  It is a journey.  I continue the "journey" into the creative and mysterious work of making the images convey the emotional aspects of what I have captured. 
I use many tools available in the photographic processes to create the prints that I desire. 
Modern digital processes give me tremendous control and a variety of output choices which
make my "journey" possible.
